Travis Scott's 'UTOPIA' Breaks Five-Year Record, Tops Charts for a Month

Continuing to etch his name in history, Travis Scott's 'UTOPIA' maintains its stronghold, securing the top position on the Billboard 200 chart for a remarkable four consecutive weeks.

Following the success of his acclaimed album 'ASTROWORLD,' Scott's newest offering has garnered an impressive total of 161,000 equivalent album units. This achievement is composed of 92,000 album sales, 69,000 streaming equivalent album units, and the remaining units from track equivalents. Notably, 'UTOPIA' now stands as the first album in half a decade to dominate the chart for its initial four weeks, a feat that was last witnessed with Drake's 'Scorpion' back in 2018.

The current week's top 10 also introduces fresh contenders: Hozier's 'Unreal Unearth' debuts at an impressive No. 3, boasting 62,000 equivalent album units. Meanwhile, J-Hope's previously-released 'Jack in the Box' resurfaces and secures the No. 6 spot with 50,000 equivalent album units.

Shifting focus across the chart, familiar faces retain their positions: Morgan Wallen and the Barbie soundtrack maintain their places at No. 2 and No. 4, respectively. Taylor Swift makes her mark across three positions, landing at Nos. 5, 7, and 8. Peso Paluma descends to No. 9, with Wallen's presence gracing the chart again at No. 10.

In a related noteworthy development, 'UTOPIA' attains a remarkable milestone, amassing an astounding 1 billion streams on Spotify within just one month. This achievement further cements Travis Scott's influence and resonating impact in the realm of contemporary music.
