When I think about strength, I think about someone who makes you believe in yourself even when you are not sure how to believe in yourself yet. That is who Kayla Turner has been to me and to so many others in our community.

From the moment Kayla walks into a room, you feel it. Her energy lights everything up. It is not forced. It is not performative. It is real. She has a way of making every person she speaks to feel seen and important. As her mentee, I can honestly say her impact cannot possibly be described in just a few paragraphs.

Kayla does not just talk about leadership. She lives it.

Kayla is the founder of Kayy Love Management, her own business that reflects her creativity, drive, and belief in uplifting others. Through KayyLove Management, she has created opportunities not just for herself, but for artists and young people who need guidance, structure, and someone who believes in their potential.

She makes her own music, and through that music she expresses strength, resilience, and authenticity. She shows us that you can pursue your passion while still serving your community. That balance is powerful to witness.

A Leader for the Youth of Fort Pierce

Kayla is deeply involved in the Fort Pierce community. She works for the City of Fort Pierce, and that role is not just a job to her. It is another avenue to serve.

She is committed to making sure people in our community are involved in what is happening for the youth. Whether it is events, mentorship, programs, or simply showing up, she makes sure young people feel included and empowered. She understands that when youth are engaged, they are less likely to feel lost or overlooked.

As someone she has mentored, I have seen firsthand how much she pours into us. She gives advice. She listens. She pushes us to think bigger. She reminds us that our circumstances do not define our future.

The Kind of Energy That Changes Atmospheres

Kayla’s personality draws everyone’s attention, but not because she demands it. It is because she radiates positivity and confidence. She inspires simply by being herself.

She has mentored many kids over the years, and the impact she has made on our lives continues long after the conversations are over. She makes you want to be better. She makes you want to give back. She makes you want to lead.
